How long does the VI Peel treatment take?
The treatment itself is very quick and usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes. If you are a new patient, we first complete a short consultation that typically lasts 30 to 45 minutes so we can evaluate your skin and make sure VI Peel is the right treatment for you.

How soon will I see results?
Most patients notice brighter, smoother, more even looking skin once the peeling phase is complete. Improvements continue to develop over the next one to two weeks.

Is there any downtime?
There is no medical downtime. However peeling typically begins between days four and six which some patients may consider a social downtime if they prefer not to be seen while peeling. The peeling process is completely normal and part of your results.

Does the VI Peel hurt?
No. The VI Peel does not require numbing and most patients describe the experience as warm and tingly rather than painful. There is no pain during or after the treatment.

What side effects should I expect?
You may experience mild tightness, dryness or sensitivity during the first few days. Visible peeling usually occurs on days four, five and six. These effects are temporary and expected as your skin renews itself.​
